Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects (GGP)

1.About GGP
 The Japanese Government has various programs under its Official Development Assistance (ODA) that meets the diverse needs of developing countries. One of the ODA schemes, the Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects (GGP) supports small scale projects directly benefiting the grassroots level as well as contributing to the socio-economic development of developing countries. For these purpose, local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), local government units (LGUs) and other local non-profit organizations can be implementers under this scheme. GGP can support a project that amounts maximum twenty million Japanese Yen (JPY 20,000,000) or the equivalent amount in Philippine Peso.

3.The area covered by Consulate General of Japan in Davao
 Consulate General of Japan in Davao basically covers Mindanao excluding Bangsamoro area. The embassy of Japan in Manila covers projects related to other areas including Bangsamoro area as usual. We have exceptions depending on components and sites of projects.
