Culture and Education

The Consulate General of Japan in Davao lends out Japanese culture items.
You need to meet the following requirements:

1. As a general rule, only educational institutions, organizations or companies are allowed as borrowers. Individual borrowers are not allowed.  
2. The purpose of using the borrowed items is to promote understanding of Japanese culture at events and classes sponsored or co-sponsored by the borrower.
3. Please make sure to have the yukata, happi and other items used/worn dry cleaned before returning them.
4. Please return the items within 10 days from the borrowed date, based on the Consulate General of Japan in Davao’s operating days.
5. In the event of loss or damage to the borrowed item, compensation will be requested.
6. When borrowing or returning items, kindly visit the Consulate General of Japan in Davao directly to pick up the items in person.
7. Please submit a request form to culture.dvo@dv.mofa.go.jp one week prior to the desired borrowing date.
