Visit to Chodai Philippines Corporation Project Sites
From May 4 to 7, Consul General ONO Hirotaka visited the Caraga Region.
In Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, he paid a courtesy call on Hon. Lawrence Lemuel H. Fortun, Butuan City Mayor, and visited five project sites operated by Chodai Philippines Corporation.
In Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, he paid a courtesy call on Hon. Robert Lyndon S. Barbers, Governor of Surigao del Norte. He also met with Hon. Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II, Mayor of Surigao City, and visited the Battle of Surigao Strait Memorial and Museum with the Mayor’s guidance. In addition, he visited and toured the Taganito HPAL plant of Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd.
