On March 23, Consul General ONO attended the“Forum on Enhancing Sustainable Fisheries in BIMP-EAGA General Santos City, Mindanao, the Philippines” held in General Santos City.
This event was co-hosted by the ASEAN-Japan Centre and the Department of Trade and Industry Philippines, and was officially endorsed as a Commemorative Event for Philippines-Japan Friendship Year (70th Anniversary of Normalization of Diplomatic Relations).
With the aim of sharing the knowledge and experience of Japan’s fisheries industry with local companies and government agencies to revitalize the local fisheries sector, the event featured lectures and discussions by experts, as well as business matching sessions.
