Consul General ONO participates in events related to JMSDF’s visit to Davao

From February 23-26, Consul General ONO attended events related to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force vessels, JS Yamagiri and JS Shiranui, which entered the Port of Davao.
On the 23rd, Consul General ONO hosted a reception aboard the vessel together with Captain NOSE Takashi, Commander of the Training Division 1 of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
On the 24th, Consul General ONO delivered a lecture to approximately 100 trainee officers aboard the training ship and accompanied Captain Nose’s courtesy call on Davao City Council Member Hon. Rachel Zozobrado, Chairperson of International Committee, on behalf of Mayor Hon. Sebastian Z. Duterte.
