On September 24, House of Joy Foundation, Inc. held an awarding ceremony for the Foreign Minister’s Commendation for FY 2025 and received the certificate through Consul General ONO.
House of Joy Foundation, Inc. has been providing protection and care for children in difficult situations for nearly 30 years, while also welcoming Japanese students and others interested in international cooperation and overseas volunteer work. This Minister of Foreign Affairs Commendation recognizes the group’s significant contributions to promoting international cooperation through volunteer work.
The Foreign Minister’s Commendations are awarded to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in international fields to acknowledge their contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries and areas. This year, the commendations were awarded to 173 individuals and 58 groups.
