Visit to Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku (MKD)
Hon. AOYAMA Yamato, a member of Japan’s House of Representatives, visited Davao from September 6 to September 7.
On September 6, Hon. AOYAMA met with Davao City Councilors Atty. Rachel P. Zozobrado and Councilor Ragde Niño Ibuyan and exchanged views over dinner.
On September 7, Hon. AOYAMA visited Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku (MKD), Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School (PNJKIS) and Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai’s Office, and was warmly welcomed by school officials, faculty staff and some students. He then visited the Mintal Public Cemetery and IMIN, the Philippines-Japan Historical Museum. He also visited the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai School of Calinan and met with second-generation Nikkeijin.
