On August 28, the awardees (both individuals and groups) of the Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2025 were announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. From Mindanao, House of Joy Foundation, Inc. was selected to be awarded for its promotion of international cooperation through voluntary work.
The Foreign Minister’s Commendations are awarded to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in international fields to acknowledge their contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries and areas. This year, the commendations will be awarded to 173 individuals and 58 groups.
