Exchange with Cagayan de Oro Mayor Rolando Uy
Visit to the Flood Risk Management Project for Cagayan de Oro River FRIMP-CDOR-CP2 site
From June 3rd to June 5th, Consul General ONO Hirotaka visited the Province of Misamis Oriental.
In Cagayan de Oro City, he exchanged views with Mayor Rolando Uy, the Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC), and the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He also inspected the flood protection levees, including a boulevard along the Cagayan de Oro River, which utilizes Japanese technology; and interacted with the Japanese Association of Cagayan de Oro.
He also visited the Philippine Sinter Corporation (PSC) and Pilipinas Kao (PKI) plants, and participated in the inauguration ceremony of Yakult Philippines’ second plant in El Salvador City.
