On April 17, Consul General ONO visited Kitakyushu City, which is the first Japanese sister city of Davao City. He paid a courtesy call on Kitakyushu City Mayor Hon. TAKEUCHI Kazuhisa. They discussed collaborative activities between Kitakyushu and Davao City as well as new endeavors for the future.
Consul General ONO also visited JICA Kyushu Center, River Museum and Hiagari incineration Facility which is one of the waste-to-energy plants in Kitakyushu City and started its operation this April.
