From October 9 to 11, Consul General ISHIKAWA attended the 22nd Philippine–Japan Festival in Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School and Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku.
On October 9, Consul General ISHIKAWA participated in the opening ceremony and gave a speech. On October 10, he gave a lecture on the theme “Toward a bright future: Mindanao and Japan” for students, and also participated in Japanese Speech Contest as one of the judges.
Other events including Japanese singing contest, cosplay competition and Bon Odori were also held, and people at the venue were excited.
