Consul General ISHIKAWA attends the Turnover Ceremony of the Project for Procurement of Mobile X-Ray System in Surigao City, Province of Surigao del Norte

On August 28, Consul General ISHIKAWA attended the turn-over ceremony for “The Project for Procurement of Mobile X-Ray System in Surigao City, Province of Surigao del Norte,” which is part of Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) through the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP).
The project, with a grant amounting to USD 65,867 or approximately 3.55 million pesos, installed a new mobile X-ray system that greatly enhances the diagnostic capabilities of the City Health Office. Through the project, essential radiological services will now be available to residents, especially those in remote barangays.
Consul General ISHIKAWA, Vice Mayor Alfonso Casurra, City Health Office Head Dr. Benjielita Notada, other local government officials and personnels graced the ceremony with their presence.
