A Member of Japan’s House of Councillors, Hon. UMEMURA Mizuho visited Davao for the first time from July 30 to August 1.
Hon. UMEMURA visited the Mintal Public Cemetery (formerly Japanese Cemetery), IMIN the Philippines-Japan Historical Museum, the office of indigenous people organization, a Japanese memorial site in Tamugan and the office of Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai. She also discussed Japan-Davao relationship with Consul General ISHIKAWA.
