On October 12, Consul General Ishikawa visited Tubod, Lanao del Norte and called on Governor Imelda Quibranza Dimaporo, her husband former Governor Abdullah Dimakuta Dimaporo and their daughter Congresswoman Sittie Aminah Quibranza Dimaporo. Together with other key province officials, they exchanged opinions to promote economic relations between Japan and Lanao del Norte.
In the evening, CG Ishikawa also met with Iligan City Mayor Frederick W. Siao and they discussed how to strengthen the relationship between Japan and Iligan City.
