On October 6, Consul General ISHIKAWA attended the turnover ceremony of the Project for Improvement of the Hall of Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku with the support of the Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Projects of Japan through the Embassy of Japan in Manila.
This hall is an important venue for the bilateral cultural exchanges in the Mindanao region. The renovation started on April 17, 2023 and was completed on August 24, 2023. After the renovation, it is expected to enhance grassroots exchanges between the two countries and Japanese education, as well as to enrich the Nikkei Jin community.
