Consul General Ishikawa visits Cotabato City and General Santos City

On August 24, Consul General ISHIKAWA called on MGen. Alex S. RILLERA (Commander, 6th Infantry Division, Phil Army) and PBGen. Allen Cruz NOBLEZA (Regional Director, PNP Regional Office BAR) respectively in Maguindanao del Norte, and exchanged views on peace and order situation and requested their assistance to protect the safety of the Japanese who are engaging in economic cooperation projects. Consul General also paid courtesy call on his old acquaintance, Hon. Abunawas L. MASLAMAMA (Senior Minister, BARMM) and exchanged opinions regarding Japan’s assistance to Mindanao peace process.
On August 25, Consul General also called on PBGen. Roland Erlano DESTURA (Regional Director, PNP Region 12) in General Santos City, and exchanged views on peace and order situation and requested their assistance to protect Japanese nationals in the region.
