Consul General Ishikawa honors Mr. Miyake Hikaru with the Consul General’s Commendation

     On June 23, Consul General Ishikawa honored Mr. Miyake Hikaru with the Consul General’s Commendation for his remarkable contributions to Philippines-Japan economic relationship and friendship and the Japanese community. Mr. Miyake Hikaru was engaged in Banana business related to production, development, product management and export to Japan for 51 years since he settled down in 1971. Besides, Mr. Miyake Hikaru had contributed himself for 22 years in total as a president of Japanese Association in Davao, and at the same time, he was also a president of Rotary Club of East Davao. Consul General Ishikawa extended his congratulations to Mr. Miyake Hikaru who made a great contribution toward further promoting the mutual understanding, friendship between Japan and the Philippines and welfare of the Japanese community in Davao throughout 52 years.
