Consul General Ishikawa visits the Banana plantation of Dole, Inc. in Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte

     On April 4, Consul General Ishikawa visited the Banana plantation of Dole Philippines that is a majority-owned subsidiary of Itochu Corporation of Japan and has been operating in Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte, Mindanao. The plantation has been producing and harvesting fresh bananas that should be one of essential fruits for modern Japanese diet, and exporting them to other countries including Japan through the Port of Davao.
