Consul General Ishikawa participates in JMSDF ships’ visiting Davao related events

　On March 2-3, Consul General Ishikawa participated in JMSDF ships’ visit related events. JS Shimakaze and JS Asagiri made a port visit to Davao city, the Training Division 1 of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JSMSDF) visited MKD and PNJKIS in order to interact with local students who are learning Japanese culture and language. The officials and trainees also made a memorial visit in the Mintal Japanese cemetery. At the last night, Ambassador Koshikawa and Consul general Ishikawa attended the reception on JS Shimakaze, deepening friendship between Japan and the Philippines, both maritime nations.
