Consul General Ishikawa holds the National Day Reception

　On February 8, Consul General Ishikawa held the National Day Reception to celebrate the birthday of Emperor of Japan in SMX Convention Center. 237 guests joined the reception. Vice Mayor of the City Government of Davao J. Melchor Quitain, Jr. delivered the message of Mayor Sebastian Z. Duterte, and Asst. Secretary Renato Pedro Villa of DFA Mindanao proposed a toast. Besides, Pamphlets on tourism promotion and Japanese culture were distributed widely, a Soba stand and a Japanese-alcohol tasting stand were set, and particularly special cocktails with a combination of Japanese alcohol and the local fruits got favorable reviews.
