On January 19, Consul General Ishikawa participated in a blessing ceremony for 2 refurbished firetrucks donated from the Japan Firefighters Association to the Island Garden City of Samal. A priest blessed the vehicles, and City Mayor Al David T. Uy expressed his gratitude for the donation at the ceremony.
