Sisterhood Exchanges between Sennan City in Osaka and Davao City

On November 29, Sennan City Mayor Yamamoto Yuma met with Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte in Davao City. Consul General Ishikawa also attended the mayoral meeting. The city mayors agreed that both cities would carry out exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy, education, trade, tourism, health and culture, and would conclude a sister city agreement in the future.
If the sister city agreement is signed, Sennan City will be Davao City’s second sister city of Japan after Kitakyushu City, with which Davao City concluded a green (i.e. environmental) sister city agreement back in 2017. On the other hand, this will be the first sister city agreement for Sennan City.
