Consul General Ishikawa's meeting with Philippine Ambassador to Japan (designate) Mylene Garcia-Albano

On November 27, Consul General Ishikawa had a meeting, in Davao City, with the Philippine ambassador to Japan (designate) Mylene Garcia-Albano who is set to leave for Japan soon. During the meeting, the Consul General explained, to the Ambassador, the importance of trade, investment, tourism and human interactions between Japan and the Philippines.
The Ambassador, in return, said that she would be looking forward to working in Japan to increase the friendly, cooperative ties with Japan, which is one of the important neighboring countries of the Philippines. Coming from Davao, the Ambassador served three terms as Davao City’s Second District Representative in the House of Representatives from 2010 to 2019.
