Consul General Ishikawa attended the inaugural session of the BTA Parliament

On September 15, Consul General Ishikawa attended the inaugural session of the new Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament in Cotabato City. The session was truly a historical occasion since President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.; BTA Chief Minister and Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) chair Murad Ebrahim; and Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founding chair Nur Misuari attended the event together.

Consul General Ishikawa also met with Presidential Peace Adviser Carlito Galvez and several BTA members present there.
