Consul General Ishikawa made a courtesy call on Mayor Matabalao of Cotabato City

On August 30, Consul General Ishikawa paid a courtesy call on Mayor Bruce Matabalao of Cotabato City. Consul General Ishikawa extended his congratulation to the Mayor on the last election and explained about Japan's contribution to the Mindanao Peace Process. Mayor Matabalao expressed his appreciation to the Japan's stance to the peace process and also on the turn-over of the school building of Datu Ayunan elementary school by the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) the following day. Both parties exchanged opinions on road construction, flood control and waste management.
