Consul General Ishikawa’s visit to a Japanese cemetery and the Philippines-Japan Historical Museum

On April 11, 2022, Consul General Ishikawa visited a Japanese cemetery in Mintal as his first duty as the Consul General. At the cemetery, he offered flowers and paid his respects to our predecessors for their efforts in strengthening Japan–Philippines relations following brief explanations from Mintal’s Barangay Captain Mr. Bargamento.
From Mintal, he proceeded to “IMIN: The Philippines-Japan Historical Museum” in Calinan to view exhibits and exchanged opinions about historical relations between Japanese people and Davao with the museum administrator Ms. Apigo.
