Send relief operation to the earthquakes victims in Magsaysay, Davao del Sur

 On November 20, Consul General Yoshiaki Miwa together with the Japanese Community visited and conducted relief operation which consists of 817 food packs, 4300 liters of water, 400 pieces of laminated sacks and 15 boxes of medicines to the affected people in Magsaysay that was struck by a series of 3 earthquakes; with a magnitude of 6.3 last October 16, magnitude 6.6 on October 29 and magnitude 6.5 on October 31.

 This relief operation was made possible with the cooperation of local Japanese Community; Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai Inc., Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku(MKD), Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School, Davao Japanese Association, Japan-Philippine Volunteers Association and Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Mindanao. In addition, Japanese Residents Assistance Association in Mindanao had already delivered their relief supplies to the victims prior to this relief operation.
